We currently have the following opportunity: Principal Teacher - PKC12326 £55,155 Breadalbane Academy - Primary Department, Aberfeldy Breadalbane Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Principal Teacher (PT) to join the leadership team in our Primary department. The ideal candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner who is committed to supporting others to raise attainment and improve outcomes for all learners. We are establishing a new management team in our Primary Department, so there is flexibility in the remit of this post based on the skills and experience of the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspirational and experienced teacher or PT who is looking for a new challenge. The successful candidate will work alongside the Head Teacher and the Primary Depute Head Teacher and will have substantial non-teaching commitment, which will be reflected in the role. About the School Breadalbane Academy is an all-through school, catering for pupils aged 2 to 18, with a wide catchment stretching from the stunning wilderness of Rannoch Moor in the west to the bustling towns of Dunkeld and Pitlochry in the east. Opening in 2010, the school is located in the scenic town of Aberfeldy, towered over by the Highland Perthshire mountains. Our Primary Department has 7 mainstream classes, 2 GME classes and a 45-week nursery provision. The school has a Gaelic Medium (GME) provision in the primary which extended into secondary in session 2018/19. We also opened a Gaelic Nursery in session 21-22. Given our commitment to Gaelic, we do particularly welcome applications from Gaelic speakers.
