Join us in this role where you’ll maintain and support our existing WAN and LAN infrastructure, utilizing the latest SDA and SD WAN solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to deploy and support infrastructure solutions for our growing global business, collaborating closely with business stakeholders and providing onsite assistance. You will strengthen our ability to automate infrastructure deployments and optimize deliverables, working alongside top engineers to create best-in-class network solutions. Additionally, you will manage and implement continuous improvement of services according to evolving business needs and provide specialized knowledge during operations, including incident management, change impact assessment, and root cause analysis, with participation in the on-call team if required.

You’ll be part of the IT Site Enablement Team where you, together with your colleagues, will support the operating and running of our portfolio of critical assets across the Americas region. You’ll join a department of 9+ colleagues spread around the world and collaborate with the project team working in an international and dynamic setup. As a team of highly skilled individuals, our primary purpose is to ensure high availability and minimal disruptions.

You’ll play an important role in:
1. Together with the IT Product Owner, ensuring stable and secure operations of all the sites in North America.
2. Daily management and operational troubleshooting, keeping up with the global network team to be aware of updates and changes to global strategy.
3. Contribution in project meetings as the Site Enablement Network Engineer.
4. Regular maintenance and updates to existing network setups, lifecycle management of old equipment, and coordinating downtime with the business to push updates and changes.
5. Setting up network infrastructure in new locations: configuring DHCP, DNS, creating and updating Visio diagrams, configuring Cisco routers and switches, cabling and installing equipment on site, establishing appropriate documentation and monitoring.
6. Working directly with the business to address and resolve any network issues as they arise. Coordinating with ISPs if there are any planned or unplanned outages.
To succeed in the role, you:
1. Have hands-on experience in operating WAN, LAN, and wireless enterprise infrastructure using SDA and SD-WAN solutions.
2. Have expertise in cable types (Cat6a, fiber types), uses of SFPs, cable tracing, and testing ports. Also need experience with cable management inside racks.
3. Have familiarity with Cisco routers, switches, and access points. Identifying the correct data ports, configuring, installing, etc.
4. Are familiar with ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and Azure DevOps.
5. Have experience with making network documentation in Microsoft Visio.
6. Have the ability to manage and coordinate multiple vendors and stakeholders (ISP, electricians, building managers, equipment vendors, SDM, security team, business users) simultaneously.
