What You'll Be Doing:
As Payroll Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services across multiple entities. You'll be a key partner to the Finance Director, driving process improvements, supporting strategic decisions, and ensuring our people are paid correctly and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Managing the end-to-end payroll process across multiple sites
* Ensuring timely and accurate submissions to HMRC, pension providers, and employees
* Preparing and presenting payroll reports to senior leadership
* Collaborating with HR on pay reviews, benefits, and compliance
* Conducting regular payroll reviews with Area Managers to support financial planning
* Leading pension scheme administration and staying ahead of legislative changes
* Overseeing journal postings, reconciliations, and month-end payroll processes
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis
* Maintaining strong documentation and audit compliance
Pay And Rewards:

What We're Looking For:
* 3+ years of payroll experience, ideally within a multi-entity environment
* Proficiency in Xero and strong Excel skills
* A solid understanding of UK payroll legislation and best practices
* Experience working with HR/payroll systems and ensuring data integrity
* Detail-focused, highly organised, and confident handling deadlines
* A proactive, solutions-driven approach to continuous improvement
