What You’ll Do Within this role you will have overall ownership and accountability for the UK E2E & Digital Architecture definition, planning and execution with an organisation-wide impact. The role represents a senior leadership position, operating in a highly complex environment where they will be a trusted expert across Solution and Software Architecture, as well as the Enterprise Architecture vertical, capable of creation and delivery of our future direction. You will be leading with clear purpose and a shared strategy, for the Solution & Digital Architecture team in conjunction with the Enterprise Architecture vertical You will play a key role in defining and delivering against our strategic vision & transformation of event driven Architecture. You will lead an Architecture strategy that outlines the approach, principles, and preparation for delivering the reinvention of our Technology Stack You will be responsible for driving innovative, efficient, highly productive Architecture Function that is rated as the best place to work You will be leading the transformation of cost and productivity, ensuring budget spend and scope is in alignment with the business plan. You will be bringing industry thought leadership to Vodafone, and globally representing our brand in the global Technology space Who You Are You will be able to demonstrate leadership of the full software development lifecycle including multiple delivery methodologies with the ability to mentor, motivate and shape high performing teams You will possess a deep understanding of Architecture and Engineering with the experience and ability to lead, mentor, motivate and shape multidiscipline technology teams across multiple locations You will have experience of large-scale cloud-hosted solutions with challenging expectations of security, availability, and performance You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successful change initiatives underpinning key efficiency outcomes You will possess experience of managing significant budgets and business cases while able to represent critical issues and project status in a succinct manner at a board level when required You will have clear communication skills with the ability to flex to the audience including Senior Managers and Exco level Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
