We’re looking for an HR Advisor to join our Audio People & Culture team on a 18 month fixed-time contract in either Glasgow or Manchester.
As the HR Advisor, you will be responsible for advising and supporting line managers and employees on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary matters, grievances, induction, and employee welfare.
You will play a key role in building effective working relationships at all levels while providing a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach in line with HR best practices.
This will be a hybrid position where you will work from home or from one of our offices in either Glasgow or Manchester.
About the team:
We are the Audio People and Culture Team, covering all our Audio and Central Function teams across the UK. We help, advise and assist and think that our employees are our greatest assets. Led by our dedicated People and Culture director, you will be within an 11-person team who like to work collaboratively and are always there to help each other.
What you’ll be doing:
* Advising and supporting line managers and employees on ER matters.
* Supporting senior management with operational HR practices.
* Contributing to HR projects to implement new initiatives.
* Liaising with Payroll and Admin teams to complete paperwork and system updates.
* Collaborating with Talent Management on recruitment needs as required.
* Assisting line managers in embedding competency-based performance management and coaching.
* Delivering people management training sessions as needed.
* Working with HR leadership to improve policies and ensure compliance.
What you’ll bring:
* Experience supporting HR across multiple sites in a large organisation.
* Solid understanding of Employment Law and compliance.
* Experience analysing and collecting HR data.
* Knowledge of GDPR, confidentiality, and corporate responsibilities.
