Regional Sales Manager – On Trade Scotland West (including Glasgow, Loch Lomond, Ayrshire)
Award-winning premium spirits business seeks a skilled and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to join their on-trade team following a period of growth and success. The role will focus on the West Coast of Scotland, including Glasgow and Ayrshire, and will report to the Head of On-Trade.
On Offer:
1. Up to £40k base salary
2. Up to 20% bonus

Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive portfolio of on-trade focused SKUs in independent, free trade customers, and smaller regional MPO groups across the West Coast of Scotland.
2. Grow an account database to circa 120 key accounts, actively searching for new business opportunities and maintaining existing customers.
3. Deliver new distribution across accounts on the business's core range of whiskies, gins, and champagne, being the face of the brands in your territory.
4. Ensure contracts are in place for key customers and volume is delivered through local and national wholesale customers.
5. Gain menu inclusion and pouring status within these customers for the portfolio of brands, especially for Champagne PIAFF.
6. Develop annual promotional calendars with key customers to deliver activity in line with brand focus months.
7. Form close partnerships with accounts and support strategic key local and regional events to drive brand and consumer awareness.
8. Work with key route to market sales representatives in the area to aid mutually beneficial working relationships.
9. Deliver against key on-trade KPIs set within the financial year to deliver brand growth and profit targets.
Experience and Skills Required:
1. A motivated, enthusiastic, and driven attitude to achieve success in your area.
2. Self-starting role with support from the Head of On-Trade.
3. Good knowledge of the UK on-trade from a trade or supplier background.
4. Experience in delivering new business opportunities and maximizing these for volume and profit.
5. Knowledge of the UK wholesale network and how to best maximize this for your area.
6. Excellent presentation skills and ability to use PowerPoint, Excel, and other mediums for delivery.
Field-based preferably in and around the Glasgow area to ensure visibility within accounts. Regular travel within your area is required to meet all opportunities and job requirements.
