An opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker based at Ailsa Hospital.
What you will do:
1. This opportunity is available to individuals who have a genuine interest in working with Dementia patients. Previous experience in working with people with Dementia is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
2. You will be responsible for delivering person-centred care, evidence-based, recovery-focused interventions and will also promote collaborative working within a multi-disciplinary team and across multi-agency services.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. SVQ3 in Healthcare related subject and/or equivalent knowledge gained in a relevant area through experience, on the job training and/or short courses or appropriate competency to undertake role.
2. Can demonstrate a range of core skills to competently undertake patient care and other tasks and activities.
3. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
5. Ability to show initiative and work without direct supervision as required, on a daily basis.
6. Organisational and time management skills.
Hours:
37 hours per week
