Our Senior Medical Team will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare at UHN. Main duties of the job The post is designed to strengthen and improve the Quality Governance and Digital Assurance links between the Corporate Medical, Digital and Nursing teams; work alongside the Associate Director of Quality Governance; and ensure active Corporate Medical support to 'system safety working' within the ICB / system. The post holder will need to be a patient safety specialist or be willing to become one. You will be expected to have significant experience in Medical Management and be able to demonstrate dynamic and innovative leadership, working with complexity, and have experience of working across organisational boundaries at system level. It will be essential that you are able to build effective relationships. As part of the medical leadership team, you will be involved in developing and delivering UHN's clinical and medical engagement strategies in accordance with agreed local and national objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints. You should have experience of overseeing & delivering Quality Assurance Programmes within clinical services to enable this work.
