- Design and deliver dynamic and engaging English lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to encourage student participation
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum and teaching materials
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance, ensuring confidentiality
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant degree in English or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanour
- Strong classroom management abilities, maintaining a calm and respectful atmosphere
Degree in English or related field
Prior experience teaching English to students, with a proven track record of success
- Thorough understanding of English language and literature, including grammar and syntax
- Ability to tailor lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners, using a variety of teaching strategies
- Proficiency in educational technology and resources, providing modern and interactive learning experiences
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with students with special educational needs, implementing individualised education plans
The Experienced English Teacher role is based in Redcar, with full-time hours for a long-term temporary position.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality English lessons and create a stimulating and supportive learning environment for students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
