Role: Locum Pharmacy Technician Banding: Band 5 Location: Oxford Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 Months from start date Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week Rate: Day: £19 - £22 per hour About the role: The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Oxford. This is an office-based, non-patient facing role, ideal for a professional who is GPhC registered and ready to make an immediate impact. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform technical and administrative tasks to support the pharmacy team. Ensure accurate and timely processing of prescriptions. Maintain and update patient records and medication inventories. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Qualifications and Experience: Qualifications: Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician. Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification or willingness to work towards this qualification. NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Services or equivalent. Experience: A minimum of 6 months recent UK NHS hospital experience Strong background in hospital pharmacy. Excellent team management skills. Proficiency in office-based tasks and software.
