Your role:
* Create binding contracts from approved quotes, negotiate terms & conditions with customers, explain T&C to sales partners and other contract-related tasks.
* You will generate contracts based on approved quotes, adhering to previously negotiated GPO terms and conditions and value adds.
* You will participate in negotiations of terms and conditions based on customer requests and involving the appropriate parties based on specific areas being negotiated to protect Siemens.
* You will validate Siemens contracts by matching the contract to the quote, ensuring all documents are executed and signed at the right level before providing Siemens second signature. As part of the process, determine enforceability of the revenue stream under contract.
* You will contribute to uploading executed contracts to the contract management database.
* You will train Sales and others on contract terms and conditions for understanding of the differences and impact of various options on Siemens and customer.
* You will participate in projects such as audits, assessment of contracts containing various clauses, drafting language for promotions, or generating reports to reflect various circumstances.
* You will serve as a partner to Sales, helping educate and guide them how to structure a deal to meet customer and Siemens’ needs. Be able to explain contract terms and conditions.
Your expertise:
* Paralegal degree or BS/BA or higher degree in Finance/Business.
* At least 1-3 years of relevant experience at Siemens Healthineers or in a similar role at a healthcare company or at a company selling capital equipment.
* Healthcare Industry and/or legal/contract experience desirable.
* Skilled writer with interest in the nuances of contracts. Aware of financial impact of contract language or willing to learn.
* Experienced with tools including SAP, SHAREVILLE, Adobe, Word, Excel (or willing and able to learn).
* Must live in commutable distance to Malvern PA or Walpole MA Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics sites. Work from home most days with ability to work on site 1 day/week or as needed.
* Demonstrated desire to learn about our systems, processes and standards for creating contracts that meet customers’ needs and protects Siemens Diagnostics.
* Helps implement process improvements and suggests them when relevant.
* Positively support change and actively demonstrate Siemens’ values.
