An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent consultancy specializing in Water Quality and Safety Management. Due to sustained growth, our client is seeking a motivated Legionella Risk Assessor/Trainee Consultant, ideally with a degree-level qualification, to help deliver their bespoke consultancy services. The role offers a unique chance to work on system auditing, training, and UKAS-accredited Legionella Risk Assessments, guiding clients through HSE guidelines, legislation, and compliance.
Legionella Risk Assessor/Trainee Consultant key Responsibilities:
1. Predominantly conducting risk assessment surveys for Legionella, Pseudomonas, and other waterborne pathogens for the first year of employment.
2. Developing comprehensive Water Safety Plans, procedural guides, and policy documentation.
3. Implementing pre-planned maintenance schedules and offering guidance on water treatment regimes.
4. Overseeing design verification, ensuring compliance, and managing handovers for new builds and refurbishments.
5. Offering independent, expert consultation on water safety and quality issues.
6. Managing end-to-end project delivery for customized water safety projects.
Legionella Risk Assessor/Trainee Consultant key Requirements:
7. At least 2 years of experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
8. Preferably, a degree in a relevant field.
9. Competence in using Microsoft Office applications.
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
