With a diverse product range, including motorhomes, minibuses, and welfare units, they are now launching a revolutionary new equestrian transport product that is set to redefine the industry. To ensure its success, they are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to spearhead sales efforts and maximise market impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Owning the sales strategy for a brand-new product, ensuring a strong and successful launch.
2. Identifying and securing new business opportunities, engaging with potential customers and industry contacts.
3. Developing and managing relationships with dealerships, ensuring they are well-stocked and equipped to sell the product effectively.
4. Providing training and support to dealers, helping them understand the unique selling points and competitive advantages of the product.
5. Building a strong industry network, attending trade events, and positioning the company as the go-to brand for equestrian transport.
6. Exceeding sales targets, using your expertise to close high-value deals and drive revenue growth.
7. Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure a seamless sales approach.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within equestrian transport, LCVs, or specialist vehicles.
2. A strong understanding of the equestrian industry and transport market trends.
3. A self-starter mindset with the ability to drive sales independently.
4. Experience managing and supporting dealerships, ensuring they maintain optimal stock levels and actively promote the product.
5. Strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales and growth strategies.
6. A confident communicator and negotiator, able to influence and build lasting client relationships.
7. B2B sales experience and a track record of successfully launching new products into the market.
