Job summary We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and forward-looking Healthcare Assistant for our 20-bedded gynaecology and gynaecology oncology ward, providing care to women following surgery and complications of early pregnancy. Main duties of the job The Health Care Support Worker is a member of the ward team who implements prescribed care and undertakes administrative as directed by the registered nurse to: Assists in the provision of high quality patient care. Ensure that patients arriving on the ward are assessed and settled within the department. Ensure the department is clean and well stocked. Ensure that provision of food and drinks is facilitated. Participate in activities/projects that contribute to improved patient care or experience.
