Job Title: Senior Simulation Engineer

**Location:** Kent, UK
**Salary:** Up to £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate and optimise fuel injection system design using simulation methods and real test data.
2. Collaborate with Design and Development Engineers to monitor projects and recommend design and testing strategies.
3. Communicate with customer teams and other functional groups to gather and exchange information.
4. Provide regular reports to the simulation manager detailing procedures, findings, and conclusions.
5. Create and deliver work summaries to various audiences.
6. Develop and apply new analysis methods to enhance product performance and simulation capabilities.
7. Plan and manage work activities, assist with project planning, and meet deadlines.
Mandatory Skills:
1. Application of simulation methodology and fundamental physical principles.
2. Thorough knowledge of commercial simulation software such as Ansys, AMESIM, and GT Suite.
3. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering or business discipline.
4. At least 5 years' experience using simulation tools in an industrial setting.
5. In-depth knowledge of high-pressure fuel injection systems and advanced simulation methods.
Desirable Skills:
1. Track record of mastering mechanical engineering and physics concepts.
2. Knowledge of metal fatigue and fluid dynamics.
3. Ability to research topics and determine the best analysis methods.
4. Understanding of model assumptions and effects.
5. Self-motivated and proactive team player.
