Your new company
You will be working for a local manufacturing business in Southampton seeking to add to their finance team with the addition of an Assistant Management Accountant
Your new role
* Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
* Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Liaise with Creditors and Debtors directly to manage any queries that arise
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts by reconciling bank statements.
* Maintain Balance Sheet Reconciliations monthly and for the year-end processes.
* Assist in the preparation of the management accounts reporting.
* Participate in financial audits and provide support as needed.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and aid with financial analysis.
* Stay informed about relevant accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
* Prior experience within a UK Finance Role, with full right to work in the UK.
* Either Part Qualified ACCA, CIMA or AAT or someone Qualified by Experience
* Clear understanding of financial principles
* Prior exposure to management accounts up to Trial Balance
