An exciting opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Birmingham. Duties & Responsibilities
* Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Carry out bookkeeping and ensure accurate maintenance of financial records
* Complete and file VAT returns in line with current legislation
* Support tax return preparation for both personal and corporate clients
* Assist in audits, contributing to planning and on-site work as needed
What Experience is Required
* Part-qualified ACA/ACCA with experience in a practice environment
* Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
* Solid grasp of UK tax and accounting regulations
