We are looking for a Public Health Manager to support the work of Nottingham’s Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy which focusses on improving health and reducing health inequalities in Nottingham City. You will use a variety of methods to assess and understand their needs, influence and implement strategies, re-design services and pathways, evaluate our progress and much more There will be plenty of personal development opportunities, including the possibility of postgraduate study with the University of Nottingham. We are specifically looking for a Public Health Manager to join our Knowledge and Intelligence team. Led by Dana (Consultant in Public Health) the Knowledge and Intelligence team support with data analysis, population health needs assessments, research and evaluation. The team are also responsible for Nottingham’s Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) providing an overview of the health and wellbeing needs of the local community, informing local priorities and plans. Supporting the delivery of the JSNA will be a key part of this role, ensuring it is relevant, high-quality and utilised. We are particularly keen to hear from people with a good understanding of knowledge mobilisation and research management, and passion for evidence-informed practice to help develop research and evaluation culture within Nottingham City Council What to do next: We are keen to give all applicants an opportunity to shine and show their full potential.
