A large, multi-cultural school in the BS41 area of South Bristol is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in one of the KS2 classrooms.
This 2 form entry school is very passionate about the curriculum they have developed and designed to meet the needs of their children, providing an inclusive environment for their learning.
The Role
This role is to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. You will be expected to work closely with the Class Teacher and team around you to work with children in groups and on a 1:1 basis to support development and understanding of core subjects and interventions.
You will be expected to:
* Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher on pupil’s development
* Support children with additional needs.
* Provide a safe and engaging environment.
* Be patient, confident and creative with activities.
* Develop an understanding of children’s social, play and educational needs.
Working with Long-term Teachers:
We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
