To join the team, you must possess an NVQ Level 2 construction trade skill certificate (or equivalent) in Joinery, along with experience of carrying out multi-skilling work, including tiling, patch plastering and plumbing. The ability to carry out skills outside of your specific trade area is necessary and these are detailed in the skills matrix within the Person Specification. Excellent communication skills along with a sound knowledge of Health and Safety are essential. You will also have the ability to work as part of a team and possess accomplished organisational skills to plan and prioritise workload, working to deadlines and agreed targets. You must hold a full, current driving licence, as a company van is provided (for travel to and from work and for use during work hours only). Makita power tools are supplied by BCH, however you must have your own hand tools. PDA and personal safety device supplied, (with BCH suppling the necessary training on the use of these devices).
