More detail about the role The successful candidate will be required to support the Macular Practitioner team to deliver seamless ophthalmic care to the macular and medical retinal patients. Primarily, providing support in the procedure room for the delivery of intra vitreal injections, obtaining OCT scans and recording visual acuity using the logmar charts. The role also includes acting as the patients advocate and supporting the patient pathway journey You will work with the Clinical team and head of service to deliver robust clinical care for patients attending the macular service at WEEU Wonford, Heavitree and Community Sites.
