Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide individualised support to students with a range of SEND/SEMH needs, adapting your approach to meet their unique learning and emotional requirements.
2. Assist with classroom activities to ensure all students are engaged and supported, creating an inclusive learning environment.
3. Build positive relationships with students, promoting their confidence and encouraging their social and emotional development.
4. Collaborate with teachers and therapists to create tailored learning experiences that cater to each child's needs and strengths.
5. Encourage independence and life skills, helping students prepare for adulthood and navigate their learning journey.

Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or care setting is essential.
2. Experience supporting children with SEND (SLD, PMLD, ASD) is highly desirable.
3. Compassionate, patient and adaptable, with a genuine desire to help vulnerable children succeed.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
5. Ability to support students with challenging behaviours in a calm and positive manner.
Additional Information:
1. Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
2. Roles: Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
3. Pay: £12.83 - £15 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
4. This role is initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
