What You’ll Do: Lead building surveys, defect analysis, and site investigations to ensure safe and compliant properties. Prepare specifications, tender documents, and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and cost control. Provide expert advice to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders on technical matters and compliance with legislation. Deliver projects in line with RICS standards, health and safety regulations, and current building legislation. Oversee multiple jobs simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. Use CAD proficiently to create and review design work. Apply your knowledge of project management to deliver smooth, efficient project execution. Develop and refine specifications to guide project outcomes effectively. What You’ll Need: Professional membership or working towards Chartered status (MRICS or equivalent). HNC/HND in a building maintenance-related discipline. Knowledge of Building Regulations, construction legislation, and health and safety practices (including asbestos risks). Experience in building surveying, with a track record of delivering quality work and overseeing multiple projects. Proficiency in CAD, alongside a strong understanding of design, project management, and specification writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
