Position: Procurement Specialist
Location: Culham, South Oxfordshire - Hybrid Working
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time
Salary: £40,000 - £46,849 per annum

What You'll Do:
1. Provide ongoing senior-level professional cover, leveraging your MCIPS qualification to guide our procurement processes.
2. Develop successful strategies that align with organisational goals, providing professional guidance to stakeholders.
3. Negotiate and manage contracts with a solid understanding of contract law, ensuring compliance and best practises.
4. Oversee the procurement of goods and services across various categories, including Professional Services, IT, FM, and Travel/Fleet.
5. Monitor and review service level and framework agreements to ensure quality and performance.
6. Prepare and produce essential documentation related to contracts, service-level agreements, and framework documentation.
What We're Looking For:
1. Professional Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) is a must!
2. Proven experience in both commercial and public sector procurement, with an understanding of general business issues.
3. Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing contracts, particularly with non-standard requirements.
4. Familiarity with modern contract forms under EU procurement legislation and regulations.
5. Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised while maintaining high performance.
6. Strong capability to monitor service level agreements and frameworks effectively.
