POST : Digital Marketing Officer

RESPONSIBLE TO : Digital Marketing Executive
POST OBJECTIVE:
As a Digital Marketing Officer, you will plan and execute innovative digital marketing campaigns for a range of audience groups and College brands, adhering to budget allocations and deadlines.
You will have excellent communication, writing and proof-reading skills to enable you to create engaging content for a variety of target audiences such as news articles, press releases, social media, student case studies etc.
Additionally, you will support the Website Manager with the maintenance of the College websites.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To support the Website Manager with updating and maintaining all College websites and platforms such as creating landing pages, uploading news articles, and updating course information.
* To create engaging content and copy for a variety of target audiences such as news articles, social media content, press releases and student case studies etc.
* To plan and execute digital marketing campaigns for a range of audience groups and College brands, across multiple channels and platforms such as social media, PPC and Mailchimp etc. to generate applications, enrolments and attendance at key events.
* To contribute to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns.
* To support the Website Manager with updating and maintaining all College websites and platforms such as creating landing pages, uploading news articles, and updating course information.
* To create engaging content and copy for a variety of target audiences such as news articles, social media content, press releases and student case studies etc.
* To work alongside the Marketing and Events Team to cover student experience activity and College events.
* To develop and implement SEO content strategies.
* To produce accurate reports and share insights using Google Analytics and other reporting software to demonstrate effective return on investment (ROI).
* To keep abreast of new social media opportunities and digital marketing trends and implement these new technologies.
* To undertake regular research and competitor analysis to ensure that all relevant opportunities are utilised.
* To complete and maintain marketing finance records including raising purchase orders and processing invoices.

8. To comply with the College Group's Performance Management Framework, ensuring that all direct reports have agreed targets and objectives in place which are regularly monitored, enabling direct report to meet ambitious College Group targets.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* Degree/qualification in digital marketing or similar discipline.
* GCSEs at grade 9 - 4 (A* - C) in English, Math & IT
* Experience in a digital marketing.
* Proven experience of writing and editing high quality content across various platforms.
* Experience of compiling reports and effectively evaluating data.
* Experience of social media marketing, PPC and SEO
* Excellent writing and proofreading skills with a natural flair for spelling and grammar.
* The ability to meet deadlines through effective time management and by organising and prioritising workload.
* The ability to demonstrate resilience when faced with challenging situations and external pressures.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Analytical mind-set and critical thinking.
* Experience with Adobe Software including Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Experience of video production and editing.
* Experience using a range of analytics tools including Google Analytics.
* Knowledge and experience of Joomla/Word Press.
