We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Lead to manage, oversee, and ensure successful delivery of Data Science and Analytics (DS&A) projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end project execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams across Sky Data, and ensuring alignment with business goals. This role will require exceptional project management skills, an understanding of data science and analytics/insight techniques, and the ability to engage with business stakeholders through simple and effective communication. This is a brand-new role to support our Data Science and Analytics team, it offers a unique opportunity to shape the direction and influence the delivery framework for data science and analytics initiatives. You will be pivotal in establishing best practices, driving innovation, and setting the standard for future project execution. What you'll do Be accountable for the successful delivery of Data Science programmes working closely with the Heads of Data Science, Head of Digital Decisioning and Director of DS&A Work with the Business and DS&A teams to shape business cases into prioritised delivery roadmaps/plans with clear and identifiable milestones. Lead and negotiate governance and reporting structures, scope, schedule, budget, risks, resources and communications plans. Be able to clearly communicate programme status, risks & issues, budgets and schedules at all levels including Reporting to Executive Steering Groups (ESG) Active hands-on participation to deliver projects Be an outstanding role model, by demonstrating high standards of behaviours and actions and embodying Sky’s values daily and motivate and inspire our people and teams. What you'll bring Proven track record of managing large scale, complex data and preferably data science, analytics and digital related programmes in agile environments. Experience of collaborating with business stakeholders to help shape business cases and translate into tangible roadmaps and delivery plans/trackers. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project) and Agile methodologies. Excellent financial planning and tracking Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into actionable business insights. GDPR, data protection, data management knowledge and experience is preferable. Familiarity with data science principles as well as understanding of data engineering practices, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Relevant certifications in Agile, PMP, or Scrum (preferred) Team overview Group Data Hub Want to unlock the power of data?
