Search are supporting the recruitment of a Finance Assistant for our client's Fife office on a temporary, part-time, basis (3 days a week). Within the role, you will be gathering, inputting and processing financial data to ensure accurate and timely management of financial information. If you have transactional finance experience, are available to start a new role quickly and looking for flexibility around hours, you would be encouraged to apply. Pay: Circa 13.50 an hour. Your responsibilities will include: Managing and processing financial transactions. Preparing and administering banking information. Ensuring transaction reports and banked monies reconcile as part of monthly reconciliation. Handling company purchase card information. Acting as the first point of contact with the bank, cardholders and ledger queries. Preparing debtor and creditor invoices for processing. Ensuring accuracy of debtor and creditor records before authorisation/payment. Processing petty cash reimbursements and ensuring accuracy. Reviewing and updating standard operating procedures for financial transactions. Key Skills/Experience: Demonstrable experience in transactional finance. Xero experience desirable. Effective communication skills. IT proficient and Excel skills. Comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Attention to detail for processing financial data.
