Temporary Sales Ledger Assistant
Starting: Start of May
Duration: 6 months
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm
Hourly Rate: £14.50
Based: Leith
Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Accounts assistant to help over their busy summer period.
What You'll Do:
1. Creating sales invoices
2. Verifying receipt and alignment of sales orders with sales invoices
3. Reconciling remittance advices with sales invoices
4. Organising Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger documents
5. Jointly overseeing the receipt of supplier invoices
6. Ensuring administrative submissions by Operations staff to Accounts are current
7. Performing general administrative tasks within the Accounts Department as needed
We like the person to have:
1. Exceptional attention to detail and diligence
2. Experience with Sales Ledger or other Accounts Department roles
3. Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook
4. Excellent numerical skills
5. Effective communication abilities
6. Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles
