Education required:
* CCC at A Level (or equivalent) with one subject being Maths.
* 5 GCSEs grade 9-5 (A*-C) (or equivalent) including Maths, English Language (not Literature).
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English.
Other requirements: You must live within a 60-minute commute of the site location on the day you start your apprenticeship as you are expected to be on site daily.
Expected Start date: 1 September 2025.

Ahead together with tailored training and career development
This is a 4.5-year practical, hands-on apprenticeship where you’ll be working towards a BEng Chemical, Process and Sustainability Engineer at Teesside University.
As a Chemical, Process and Sustainability Engineer, you will gain all the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to excel within Chemical engineering environments. With a focus on planning for the future of the sector, apprentices will be equipped to meet the evolving demands of the industry.
What will you do?
Through a series of rotations in the various Engineering departments on site, you will embark on an exciting journey of hands-on learning and professional development.
* You will work alongside experienced engineers and scientists to design, develop, and optimise manufacturing processes that ensure the safe, efficient, and sustainable production of our pharmaceutical products.
* Your role will involve problem-solving, innovation, and the application of cutting-edge technologies to improve process efficiencies while minimizing environmental impact.
* Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gain valuable knowledge and skills that will prepare you for a rewarding career in the field of chemical and process engineering.

* Starting salary of £20,800 per year, increasing to £26,400 year after 1 year (subject to review annually) + annual bonus based on company performance.
