Salary:Scale 4, GBP 26,106 : GBP 28,653 per annum

Job Purpose
The role of the successful candidate would be the initial point of contact for the Economic Crime Unit and provide comprehensive administrative support to the department, incorporating Financial Investigation Unit, Economic Crime Investigation Unit, Volume Fraud Investigation Team, Financial Development Unit and Cyber Crime Unit.
Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to;
:
Scan and collate financial material for input to spreadsheet in support of financial investigations. Facilitate the payment of monies to recipients as required. Maintain in conjunction with Corporate Finance the Force financial spreadsheet detailing banked monies and accounts.

Conduct Experian/Land Registry checks for the Economic Crime Unit and Force and be responsible for new account user requests and re:setting of accounts as necessary. To provide administrative checks in support of the Duty Financial investigator.

Maintain the Economic Crime Unit intranet page, liaising with Corporate Communications where necessary.

To provide the Force financial spreadsheet to officers attending the monthly cash seizure hearing at Southampton Magistrates Court.

Preparation of Forfeiture Letters to Case Files on Record Management System for onward progression to Crown Prosecution Service via Criminal Justice IT link.

To administer and prepare files for archiving, Management Of Police Information compliant.

Essential Qualifications
Educated to
QCF Level2 (including passes in English and Maths) OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.
