We are looking for an awesome team member to provide a frontline reception and administration service that contributes positively to the company’s image by effectively interacting with patients, referrers, funders and the public in a prompt, professional and empathetic manner. Ideally you will have had previous customer service experience in a medical reception, office administration, or similar front-line customer contact role and competent in Microsoft Office. We are after someone who is the right fit for our culture and professional practice standards. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to build empathy and rapport with patients and referrers quickly.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Welcome patients, callers and others while determining and fulfilling their needs
* Ensure reception and patient waiting area is tidy and welcoming at all times
* Liaise with clinical staff to ensure appointments run to schedule
* Schedule appointments
* Accurately input confidential information into radiology information system (RIS)
* Provide patients with a clear indication of cost for all procedures by keeping knowledge of funding current
* Process account payments from patients and manage applications for funding as required e.g. Southern Cross Insurance. Complete daily banking summaries as required.
