Job Advert: Data and Digital Systems Manager
Location: Swinderby, Lincoln (Hybrid)
We are seeking a skilled and strategic Data and Digital Systems Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in leading and delivering our data and digital systems strategy, working closely with our IT Manager and other department heads to drive the evolution of technology and data operations across the organisation. While you won’t manage the IT function, your expertise in digital transformation will be vital to ensuring our initiatives align with business goals and enhance our overall capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Planning: Lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s digital and data strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth targets.
* Governance: Provide governance for all digital and data initiatives, ensuring compliance with both internal policies and relevant external regulations.
* Risk Management: Manage and mitigate risks associated with digital transformation and technology-driven operations, proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges.
* Data Management: Oversee and guide the organisation’s data management efforts, ensuring high standards of data quality, accessibility, and consistency.
* Innovation: Drive innovation within the organisation by evaluating emerging technologies and their potential to improve operations, efficiency, and service delivery.
* Supplier Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with third-party technology providers, ensuring effective delivery and value from external partnerships.
* Stakeholder Relationship Management: Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to ensure the success of digital and technology initiatives.
* Programme Management: Oversee the governance and successful delivery of key technology-driven programmes, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and objectives.
* Information Security & Assurance: Ensure robust security measures are in place, protecting the organisation's data and systems from internal and external threats.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in digital systems, data management, and technological operations.
* Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance.
* Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and stakeholder engagement.
* Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in business operations.
* A forward-thinking approach to digital innovation and transformation.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work across departments.
