We are seeking a highly motivated part-time digital designer with strong email/CRM design experience to join our marketing team. This role involves designing and creating email marketing campaigns and other digital graphic design work to enhance customer engagement, retention, and overall brand experience. The ideal candidate will have a commercial eye, be pro-active, and constantly striving to inspire, elevate and improve. You will be results-driven, with a strong understanding of CRM tools (Klaviyo), data analysis and customer-centric marketing. You will be a crucial part of a small team at an exciting part of our growth journey.
The role is hybrid, part-time 3 days PW, with a contracted 1-2 days per week spent in our central Brighton office. Please only apply if you can attend the office on a weekly basis. Freelancers will be considered as long as they can commit to weekly days in the office and regular marketing meetings.
The Role:
Design and deliver beautiful & engaging email, web & digital advertising assets for our target customer, whilst striving to innovate and make a visual impact. You will also help maximise revenue opportunities and profitability of the brand, whilst adhering to and crafting the brand aesthetic.
Responsibilities:
* Design, create, manage, and execute email marketing campaigns, including promotional, transactional, and lifecycle emails
* Work with the digital team to help develop and execute CRM strategies to enhance customer engagement, increase retention, and drive long-term loyalty
* Coordinate email and website assets to adhere with the upcoming marketing focuses
* Work closely with the Digital team to plan weekly marketing emails
* Build beautiful, engaging and revenue driving homepages for the website
* Create social media assets which speak to our target customer & drive engagement
* Work with the team to identify segments and target customer groups based on behaviour, preferences, and demographics
* A/B test email content, subject lines, and send times to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
* Attend weekly marketing meetings to ensure digital assets are in line with marketing plans
* Track performance metrics, analyse results, and optimize future campaigns based on data-driven insights
Candidate profile:
* Complimentary taste level that fits with the brand handwriting and ethos
* Competent Photoshop and Canva skills, and ideally experience with animation & video. Basic HTML knowledge (for design) is preferred
* Experience designing for digital channels: Email marketing, websites & social media platforms
* At least 2 years graphic design experience in the fashion/accessories industry
* At least 2 years CRM experience in the fashion/accessories industry
* Some email & website design best-practice knowledge
* Experience designing for digital marketing platforms (Shopify and Klaviyo preferred)
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate competently and clearly
* Strong organisational and task management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work in a fast-moving reactive business with multiple deadlines
* Creative mindset with a customer-first approach.
