Job Advert: Full-Time Primary SEN Teacher Location: Knowsley Contract: Full-time, until the end of the school term (potential to extend into the next term) An exceptional primary SEN school in Knowsley is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary SEN Teacher to join their team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with pupils who have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) due to severe learning difficulties and/or complex autism. The Role: The successful candidate will: Teach and support pupils with severe learning difficulties and/or complex autism. Deliver engaging, personalised lessons that cater to individual developmental stages. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil progress. Foster a nurturing and supportive environment to encourage confidence and independence. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience in Early Years or working within a SEND environment. A solid understanding of autism and strategies to support pupils with complex needs. Patience, resilience, and a nurturing teaching approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
