At Portsmouth Water, we are committed to building a secure and resilient digital environment. As part of our expanding cyber security team, we’re looking for a skilled and passionate Cyber Security Analyst to join us.
You will play a key role in our drive to achieve the CAF/eCAF framework while helping safeguard our digital assets across a variety of exciting projects. What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities
* Executing a cyber improvement programme to enhance Portsmouth Waters security posture
* Manage compliance with water relevant Cyber Security regulations, standards, and frameworks
* Implement and manage security monitoring tools and systems to detect and respond to security event
* Identify and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Monitor security logs, alerts, and reports to identify potential security incidents or anomalies.
* Provide support to regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to security policies and controls
* Provide reporting on security incidents, compliance status and risk assessments.
* Develop, implement, and maintain Cyber Security policies, procedures, and guidelines
What do you need?
Skills, Qualifications & Competencies
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cyber security roles, with demonstrable involvement in implementing security frameworks (e.g. NIST, eCAF, ISO) and implementing technical projects (Essential)
* Prior hands-on experience with SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence, and IAM systems (Essential)
* Experience contributing to enterprise-level security initiatives, preferably in environments that required alignment with industry standards and certifications (CAF/eCAF, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001). (Essential)
* Proven experience in collaborating with IT Operations teams including third-party vendors. (Essential)
* Proven experience generating management reports on security incidents and vulnerabilities (Preferred)
