Role
The employer for this position is the guardian of an autistic young man who lives in his own home, with a team of staff providing 24/7 support. He requires support to stay safe and access the community as well as with meeting his health and personal care needs. He enjoys a stimulating and active life and relationships with people are important to him.
The young man is looking for someone confident and relaxed with a good sense of humour who shares his interests in computer games, walking, eating out and trying new things. His family require someone who is a confident people manager who is reliable and committed, with a genuine interest in helping their son live a great life.
His team of support workers provide a high level of care and support. To ensure this, we offer in-house training and double up shifts, monthly team meetings and regular 1:1 supervision. We work flexibly to ensure we truly meet this young man’s specific needs and we think that this role provides an excellent opportunity for committed and experienced support staff with management or team leader experience to work creatively and effectively to make a real difference.
We offer contracted employment with annual leave, pension contribution etc. A PVG check will be carried out on successful candidates and there will be a 3-month probation period.

The Fundraising Manager – Corporates and Philanthropy is responsible for developing and implementing plans to maximise income from corporate partners and individuals with the propensity to donate significant sums. There is huge scope to develop both income streams at Sight Scotland, as this is the first dedicated position covering these income streams.
The primary focus initially will be on developing corporate partnership income, as there is huge potential for partnerships ranging from transactional right up to transformational. The role supports the organisation’s purpose to make a significant impact on the lives of people living with visual impairment in Scotland by maximising fundraising income to deliver brilliant services and create a positive impact on our ability to deliver for the long term.
This specialist manager role would suit someone who is already operating at a senior fundraiser level, or someone who can demonstrate experience of developing a corporate and/or major donor pipeline, creating operational plans and delivering income.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Care & Support team as a Depute Director of Care & Support. The main responsibilities of the role include:
* To work collaboratively with the Director of Care and Support and peer Depute, in leading and managing our specialist care services, taking on a visible and supportive operational leadership role.
* To ensure high quality, consistency of care and support is experienced by adults with a learning disability who attend daily or live within our Camphill Community.
* To ensure our care and support is evidenced via measurable outcomes, appropriate care documentation and collaborative person-centred care planning, which meaningfully involves the resident / day student, appropriate family members and external professionals.
* To help build and maintain positive relationships with a range of key stakeholders, with the aim of sustaining and developing our care and support delivery, upholding the positive and proactive reputation of our Camphill Community.

The Team Manager role will include providing direct care and support, as well as support planning and monitoring the quality of services provided to a number of supported people. It will also include managing, mentoring and providing day to day support and supervision to worker teams across the service.
The successful candidate will be able to work creatively and flexibly to provide positive leadership and support to their teams.
Evening, weekend work and overnight support responsibilities are required as well as at times on-call support to workers out with ‘normal working hours’.
