A leading further education provider in Cambridge is seeking an Assessor/Trainer - Electrical Installations to join their construction team. This is an exciting opportunity to guide and mentor apprentices, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their industry. About the role: Based at the Cambridge Campus, you will be responsible for a caseload of apprentices, tracking their progress, providing training, and supporting them through End Point Assessments. This role involves regular employer engagement, ensuring apprentices receive high-quality learning experiences both in the workplace and in college. Agile working is available, allowing for a mix of on-site, workplace visits, and remote administrative duties. About You: Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations or related discipline. Experience: Extensive industry experience in electrical installations. Assessment Skills: Assessing and IQA qualifications (or willingness to work towards them). Teaching & Mentoring: Previous experience in training, coaching, or assessing is desirable. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of current apprenticeship standards and assessment requirements (training available if needed). IT Skills: Comfortable using digital platforms to track apprentice progress. Flexibility: Willingness to travel for workplace visits (mileage reimbursed).
