Known for their high quality and attention to detail our client is looking for an Accounts Clerk to join their established team that shares those high standards. With a 4 or 5 day a week working pattern available this role is perfect for someone looking to strike a better work/life balance whilst still playing a key part in a supportive team. As the Accounts Clerk the successful candidate will support teams across the business and play an important role in the smooth running of the business as a whole, working to clearly defined performance indicators. Key Responsibilities Raising and posting invoices to the sales ledger Processing cash receipts and posting them to the ledger Monitoring customers outstanding balances Maintenance of cash book and preparation of monthly bank reconciliations Managing the petty cash system Processing of weekly payroll for part of the business Managing holiday pay and pension contributions Processing motor fuel invoices and ensuring fuel card dockets are matched with invoices Assisting the Management Accountant in the processing of purchase ledger invoices Key Experience Experience of both sale and purchase invoice processing Payroll processing Working with internal customers outside of the finance department High attention to detail
