We are seeking a Compliance Manager to join our Regional Ethics & Compliance team! About the Role:
As the Compliance Manager, you will be the go-to person for ethics and compliance matters across various business areas. Your ability to assess risks, triage issues, and escalate when necessary will be crucial. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support global compliance needs while ensuring adherence to our Code of Conduct and Anti-Corruption Policy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Compliance Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies to promote compliance with our Code of Conduct and related policies.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct outreach to regional stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact between Compliance and business leaders.
* Risk Assessment: Plan and conduct ad-hoc and regular risk assessments focusing on ethics and compliance risks.
* Support Ethical Culture: Leverage your expertise to enhance the global compliance programme and foster an ethical workplace.
* Monitor and Mitigate Risks: Analyse business activities and recommend preventive actions to align with our legal and ethical standards.
* Training & Communication: Design and deliver tailored compliance training for employees and third parties to ensure engagement and understanding.
* Third-Party Analysis: Assess third-party engagements for compliance risks, overseeing due diligence and monitoring efforts.
* Approval Requests: Analyse compliance approval requests, focusing on anti-corruption risks and facilitating appropriate resolutions.
What You Bring:
* Experience: Solid years in compliance, risk, or audit, with a strong focus on investigations.
* Industry Knowledge: Experience in compliance advisory or consulting, preferably with a background in Big 4 accounting, tech, or telecom industries.
* Education: A qualified accountant is a plus.
* Language Skills: Additional language skills in French, Portuguese, Spanish, or Arabic are highly desirable.
* Audit Experience: Strong experience with audits and compliance training.
