We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hillingdon to assist with the appointment of a Care Worker -Adults to work in a residential care setting. We have both regular shifts (35 hours per week) and bank shifts available. Please note that we don't offer sponsorship, and the worker should be able to work full time without restrictions. We would need 5 years work references checked out before you start the shifts. Rate of Pay : £14.84 - £18.30 per hour Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our residential care team in Hillingdon. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to adults with varying needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and independence. This role requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of residents. Responsibilities: Provide person-centered care, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support residents with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and recreational activities. Administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policies. Monitor and report any changes in residents physical or emotional well-being. Encourage and facilitate social engagement and community participation. Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). First Aid and Manual Handling training. Ability to operate hoist without supervision. Experience working with adults with physical disabilities, dementia, or mental health conditions. Skills: A commitment to operating in a customer-focused environment. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a wide range of people. Ability to organise own workload to meet targets and deadlines. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative. Self-motivated, flexible, and resourceful. Trustworthy and reliable.
