The Laurels Care Home provides compassionate, person-centered care for our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Senior Care Assistant to join our team and help ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the night care team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
• Assist residents with personal care, mobility, and daily activities.
• Monitor residents’ health and well-being, reporting any changes to senior staff and family members.
• Ensure the care environment is safe, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout the night.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with the care plan.
• Complete accurate documentation and maintain care records.
• Promote and maintain a positive, supportive environment for residents and staff.
Key Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or in a similar role in a care home setting.
• Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and empathetic, with a genuine passion for caring for others.
• Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work night shifts.
