Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for an Administrator to join our team at Rutland Manor Nursing Home. Based in Ilkeston, DE7, Rutland Manor provides care and nursing support to older people, people living with dementia and provides support for challenging needs.
Experience: We are looking to speak with applicants that have experience of working as an Administrator in a care setting and have worked on payroll preparation, rotas, staff files and have overseen recruitment and onboarding. Recruitment responsibilities include arranging interviews, recording interview notes if requested and ensuring the relevant checks such as DBS and references have been completed for new starters, alongside ensuring training requirements are met.
Hours: hours per week, Monday-Friday. However, work outside of these hours may be required to meet business needs. The salary is dependent on experience.
Required : Experience of working with Excel. Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Further responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Maintain accurate records of the home in line with Company policy and procedures
2. Prepare and issue reports as required
3. Process receipts of monies against Clients’ accounts. Maintain records and assist clients with accessing funds and settling accounts on their behalf, if required
4. Maintain Staff attendance records
5. Maintain files for Clients and Staff in line with Company procedures and regulation.
6. Provide administrative support to the Home Manager
7. Answer the telephone, respond to enquiries from Clients and Visitors at Reception, and re-direct enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner
8. Maintain stationery supplies
