If this sounds like the role for you, please read on A day in the life of our Community Legacy Manager Legacies are an important source of income for the British Red Cross and the single largest net voluntary income stream. The work of the team is essential in allowing us to continue providing support to people in crisis every day. This role is primarily in the community. You’ll be managing and running events to inspire new and existing supporters to leave a gift in their will to BRC. You’ll have an excellent understanding of the importance of relationship building with supporters, volunteers, internal and external partners. You’ll also be following up and supporting our direct marketing campaigns which run throughout the year and across all media. This role might be for you if… You have experience in fundraising and can demonstrate strong relationship skills within the charity sector although we may consider these skills from other sectors. You can identify and develop opportunities for stewarding supporters. You have experience with public speaking and can deliver engaging informative and effective presentations. All the while showing compassion, building meaningful relationships with prospects, and converting them into donors. You have event management experience. You’re motivated, organised, and have excellent prioritisation skills. You hold a full driving licence (travel is an essential part of the role and the successful candidate must have the ability to travel and occasional overnight stays). Interested?
