Summary of This Role
* Receive Option/Parameter Maintenance Requests (OMRs), review, discuss and investigate with relevant sources of information and, through own experience, resolve the OMRs within a ten days timescale.
* Provide guidance and consultancy to clients on Option related issues. Build and undertake training classes both internally and externally, and support product launches and projects. Implement and verify allocated OMRs correctly and accurately to alleviate any potential risk or detriment to client and TSYS.
What Part Will You Play?
* Carry out an initial assessment of each OMR in terms of what screen changes the OMR requires for its completion. The review will also include: Sizing of an OMR in terms of the number of changes required.
* Assessing the impact of the change.
* Assessing whether the change will meet clients business objectives.
* Determining relationships with other OMRS.
* Establishing if the OMR will require an emergency refresh. Ensure all relevant information is added to the associated file.
* Liaise with the client as appropriate to clarify the requirements of the OMR, the business objective of the change and the timescales associated with the OMR.
* Produce documents to be fed back to the client in cases of OMRs that have far reaching implications should the changes be put into place that the client may wish to review before proceeding further. For example complex module OMRs.
* Assist other Options Analysts with the keying and verification of changes as required and requested by the line manager.
* Ensure attention to detail at all times and to minimise input errors.
* Develop subject matter expertise across multiple modules in order to be able to conduct training sessions to customers both internally and externally, developing documentation to support the training. Develop and maintain documentation of processes within area of subject matter expertise.
* Develop an in depth understanding of client's business processes and business requirements, being able to offer suggestions to clients as to how to streamline/improve processes.
* Act in a consultancy capacity to the client on option management within the areas of expertise with the clients providing support which will also include some onsite visits.
* Act in a consultancy capacity on option management to other departments within TSYS.
* Required on-call support for OMR related issues (on a rotating schedule).
* Occasional Out of Hours Support.
What Are We Looking For in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree.
* Relevant Experience or Degree in: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of training and experience.
* Typically Minimum 4 Years Relevant Experience.
* Includes consulting with clients to meet business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
* Microsoft Office, including writing macros in Excel.
* Typically Minimum 4 Years Relevant Experience.
* In the credit card industry.
