* Run and manage BESS revenue optimisation contracts, including supplier selection.
* Lead and manage contract negotiation and execution.
* Coordinated interfaces between commercial, finance, engineering, and construction teams.
* Feed into wider commercial strategy around BESS projects.
* Implement monitoring/benchmarking program for operational assets.
* Attend industry meetings and conferences.
* Influence policy through consultations.
* 2-3 years of experience in the energy industry, focusing on revenue optimisation of BESS facilities.
* Track record of negotiating complex energy contracts.
* Knowledge of the UK electricity market, particularly balancing and short-term trading markets.
* Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Proven ability to lead and develop a business area.
