JOB TITLE: Business Manager- Displays/Audio Visual

LOCATION: Burnley 3-4 days in office
We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to manage the displays category for a leading IT Distributor based in Burnley. The role requires you to manage and lead a team of 5-6 Product Managers and Product Specialists, as well as manage the displays category. Vendors include Samsung Hotel TV, LG, Sharp NEC, Vestel to name a few. Your role is to manage the business planning and deliver on strategy and growth for the category. We are also looking for someone who not only has experience in the Audio-visual field but someone who may have also covered LED.
As Business Manager- Displays, your role will be responsible for:
* Working with vendors to achieve jointly agreed deliverables and KPIs while creating, maintaining, and growing relationships with existing and new vendors.
* Working with relevant internal departments to achieve targets, KPIs, and joint business plans while adhering to Exertis best practice.
* Coaching and mentoring Product Specialists and Product Managers.
* Ensuring favorable terms are negotiated to ensure a profitable and efficient brand (including stock, payment, and financial terms).
* Leading QBRs and MBRs to assist with forward planning on next actions and development steps.
* Continually reviewing and measuring the team’s inputs and contributions to the overall strategy through SMART objective setting and performance management.
* Identifying areas for development within the team, ensuring PDPs are in place to meet the needs of the team.
REQUIREMENTS: Business Manager- Displays/ Audio Visual
We are looking for a highly commercial and experienced man-manager, someone who can lead the team. You’ll also need to have a strong background in either Audio Visual, Displays, and/or LED. You’ll be managing several key brands and driving growth for the category, so strong commercial skills are essential! Knowledge of the category and market are also highly required. Someone from either an IT/AV Distributor, Reseller, or online/retailer.
As you will be leading a team, we require someone who has good people skills, a strong communicator, and an influencer who can lead from the front.
