Your Role As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be at the heart of a dynamic team of Therapists, Nurses, and Support Workers. Together, you'll drive exceptional outcomes for all students by: Delivering Student-Centred Care: Focus on the unique needs and development of each student. Creating Safe Learning Spaces: Inspire and empower students to reach their full potential. Providing Personalised Learning Support: Facilitate both 1:1 and group learning activities tailored to individual needs. Assisting Tutors: Support lesson delivery and track student achievements. Organising Exciting Activities: Plan engaging outings and day trips. Handling Administration: Ensure smooth college operations with efficient administrative work. About You The SLT are looking for individuals who are: Passionate about supporting young people (19-25 years old). Committed to achieving the best outcomes for those they support. Creative and Adaptable, bringing new ideas to life. Resilient, with strong initiative in challenging situations. Excellent Communicators, both verbally and in writing. Qualified (or willing to work towards) a Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools (funding available). Experienced in classroom environments and tracking student progress. Knowledgeable about conditions like Autism, Epilepsy, and PMLD (preferred but not essential).
