Personnel Security Controller
Due to the nature of the role & the industry you will be worliong in, you will be required to achieve UK sc clearance.
We are looking for an experienced Security Controller to take the lead on the provision of security support and advice to meet the needs of the business needs. You will also be expected to be in line with all relevant policies, procedures, requirements and standards.
Day to day you will -
* Collaborate and advise on programme and bid related security compliance requirements, preparing security artefacts as necessary to ensure relevant policies, procedures, standards and requirements are met.
* Provide security related advice and support to stakeholders, such as event and travel security, to ensure compliance and to promote industry best practice and continuous improvement.
* Support security audits and monitor activities to ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, standards and requirements.
* Support in the management of security incidents, carry out investigations to ensure effective timely resolution.
* Conduct security inductions, security awareness training to ensure a robust security culture in line with industry best practice and compliance with relevant policies and standards.
* Develop and implement security initiatives to effectively safeguard people, places, information and company reputation.
