Senior Estimator(Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, MEICA, M&E)
Responsibilities:
* Cost Estimation: Create comprehensive cost estimates for tender submissions by generating bottom-up estimates based on the client's scope and technical specifications.
* Collaboration:Collaborating effectively with fellow estimators and various delivery functions, including bid managers, planners, design managers, and commercial and delivery teams, to create solutions and develop pricing.
* Design Contribution: Participate in the development of designs, ensuring all designs are thoroughly checked and verified to facilitate accurate tender submissions.
* Contractor Management: Manage selected contractors to guarantee quality delivery and value for money in all tender submissions
* Budget Preparation: Formulate budgets and cost plans to guide project financial management.
* Risk and Value Management: Implement risk and value management strategies throughout the tendering process.
* Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of estimates, including methodologies, assumptions, and sources of data used in the estimation process.
* Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior estimators and other team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Requirements:
* Industry Experience: Demonstrated success in delivering tenders and pricing for projects of various sizes and complexities within the water industry (infra/noninfra, waste/clean)
* Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
* Software Proficiency: Proficient in estimating software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
* Qualification: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Analytic Abilities: Excellent analyticand problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Attend internal and external meetings to present estimates, discuss project details, and address any client or stakeholder concerns.
