Who You Are You are an experienced Business Support professional with a focus on educational safeguarding. You possess a strong knowledge of IT and have confidence in using data systems such as Word and Excel. You are organized, with a keen ability to manage child performance and employment license applications, schedule and deliver training, and set up meetings and forums. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to respond effectively to inquiries, including those from parents. What the Job Involves This role involves supporting Education Safeguarding Officers in keeping children safe in education, activities, and child performance employment. You will be responsible for collating information to audit performance against timescales, managing child performance and employment license applications, and supporting the team's face-to-face meetings and inspections. Minute-taking will be part of your duties, and you will need to support face-to-face work, including chaperone checks and child employment inspection visits. The job allows for hybrid working arrangements, but some in-person work at County Hall is required.
